After our Halong Bay cruise, we returned back again to the Astoria Hotel and Travel and headed straight out to get our Halloween nails done! Tiger had designs on every finger and toe!

We then headed out shopping - I ended up buying another suitcase to take home! And we particularly focused on Halloween clothes as I had a cunning plan....

We awoke bright an early on our final day in Vietnam, Halloween, Friday 31st October. We had a photoshoot booked so first of all we headed to a hair dressing appointment where the hairdressers came in early for us at 8am. We had the works - cut, colour for both of us, all the treatments. It was like being the queen!

Just after 10am, we met up with our photographer, who we'd booked on Get Your Guide for £50. Amazing photos - we hope you like them!

Our flight back to Shenzhen was at 16:35 so we took our transfer back to the airport at 12:30. At the airport, this was where my cunning plan started to take shape. After having some food we headed to the Ladies loos to change into our Halloween costumes for the flight!!

Cue, many many confused Chinese passengers as we flew to China!! At the other end (landing at 17:40) we then had to take all the black make up off Tiger's face to get her through passport control! This time I knew that we were goign to be waiting a while for the immigration and was far better prepared and more patient.

We stayed again in the Hyatt Regency Shenzhen Airport for £78. This time, as we didn't have time to use the pool though I think I'd have rather stayed somewhere cheaper (there is another hotel in the airport called Hyatt Place which might have been better. But, nevermind, we had a good sleep and then next morning headed back to departures for our 13:45 London flight.

The flight was 12 and a half hours leaving at 13:45 and landing at 19:10 into London Heathrow Airport. We got through this with eating, sleeping, Netflix and games on Tiger's ipad, and made a whale shark!

Vietnam (and a bit of China) you were incredible. We truly hope, if the stars and flights align again, to be back soon!
