Sundowners in Newquay

Updated: Aug 18, 2021

I'd previously thought that, if you were going to the Eden Project, you had to stay nearby but in actual fact Newquay is only 20 miles or a half an hour drive away so we stayed in the Newquay Seafront Travelodge for £49, another huge accessible room with a massive bathroom. Parking is slightly complicated but you can pull into Aldi, unload, but then have to park a bit further away and walk back. We parked in Albany Road car park using JustPark.

The absolute bonus of this was that we got to have sunset beers on the beach (well I did!) and Tiger actually saw the sea, in the sun, with her trousers rolled up and got sand between her toes, and just about everywhere else. It was amazing to see!

The following day, 22 July, we did a little side trip to Truro to see our friend Jaxx and her daughters Lily, Bella, Ivy and Ophelia!
